All our bikes are built around the Pinion C.Line gearbox, which guarantees seamless shifts, up or down, even when your bike is caked in mud. The gearbox is a sealed self contained unit that requires little maintenance. Best of all, your Pinion gearbox wears IN and gets even better, the MORE you ride.
GEAR RANGE OPTIONS
On our trail and enduro bikes we offer 9 and 12 speed options. The C1.9 (9 speed) has a 568% gear range. The C1.12 (12 speed) offers an even bigger range of 600%. Both gearboxes offer a granny gear that is your get-out-of-jail-free card on the hardest pinches. The C1.9 saves you 100 grams and some money. The C1.12 offers a heavier gear. In general we would advise the C1.12 for trail purposes. For enduro riding both options are super capable.
Our G3 DH bike is equipped with the C1.6 (6 speed) with a gear range of 295%.
